Short description of the performance:
„Judge Me“ is a visceral Butoh performance that dives into the act of judgment, beauty, and transformation. Surrounded by the audience on all sides, the performer moves between the audience as a living sculpture of skin and latex, peeling, stretching, and re-forming. The body becomes a question: Who decides what is beautiful? What is worth watching? Who is the spectator? Who is the performer?
Soundscapes created by sound artists Hiroko Komiya and Chris H. Lynn, „Frequency in Motion live in Barcelona“ https://hirokokomiyachrishlynn.bandcamp.com/music mergewith raw physicality, guiding the performer through states of alienation, sensuality, and rebirth.
If you are traveling from far and need a place to stay, it is possible to spend the night at Kultur Bahnhof for 10 € per person per night. Air mattresses will be available, but please bring your sleeping bags.
